Coach Agreement

This Coach Agreement is for coaches on FitAndShift. It adds extra rules on top of our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. By applying to be a coach or coaching on FitAndShift, you agree to it.
1. Your Role
You work with FitAndShift as an independent partner. You are not our employee, agent, or business partner. You are responsible for your own taxes and any licences you need.
How and how much you are paid is agreed with you separately in writing. FitAndShift does not promise any amount of income or any number of trainees.
2. Applying and Approval
You must be at least 18 years old
Everything in your application and profile must be true, including your experience and certificates
Our team reviews every application. We may approve or reject it, and we do not have to give a reason
You can only coach trainees after we approve you
We may ask for proof of your certificates or experience at any time.
3. Your Profile
Keep your profile, photo, bio, languages, specialties, and availability correct and up to date
Our team decides if your profile is shown on our public Coaches page
Trainee reviews of your coaching may be shown on your profile
4. Working With Trainees
Our team assigns trainees to you. When you have trainees, you agree to:
Reply to messages and review daily check-ins on time
Build workout and meal plans that are safe and fit each trainee's goals, level, and health details
Only make calls that fit the trainee's plan (Pro: up to 3 a week, Elite: 1 a day, Basic: no calls)
Be kind, respectful, and professional at all times
Tell our team if you can no longer coach a trainee
5. Health and Safety
You are a coach, not a doctor.
Do not diagnose illness or injury, or tell a trainee to stop taking medicine
Tell trainees to see a doctor when something sounds like a medical problem, such as pain, an injury, an eating disorder, or pregnancy
Do not suggest extreme diets, unsafe exercises, or any drugs or supplements that are banned or unsafe
If a trainee seems to be in danger, tell our team right away
6. Keep Everything on FitAndShift
This is one of our most important rules. You must not:
Share your phone number, email address, or social media accounts with trainees
Ask for a trainee's phone number, email address, or social media accounts
Move chats or calls to WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or any other app
Take payment from a trainee outside FitAndShift, or try to move a trainee to your own private coaching
Our system checks messages for these things, and our team reviews flagged chats. Breaking this rule can lead to a warning, a limit on your account, removal of your trainees, or closing your account.
7. Privacy of Trainee Information
Trainees trust you with personal details, such as their weight, photos, meals, and health. You must:
Only use trainee information to coach that trainee
Never share it, post it, or save it outside FitAndShift
Never take screenshots of trainee photos or chats to share with others
Never contact a trainee after they stop being your trainee, unless it is through FitAndShift
8. Articles You Write
You can write articles for our website. Our team reviews each article before it is published. Your articles must be your own work, true to the best of your knowledge, and must not copy anyone else's work.
You keep ownership of your articles. You give FitAndShift permission to publish, edit for length or clarity, and share them on our website and social media, with your name.
9. Complaints and Reviews
Trainees can leave reviews and send complaints about coaches. Our team looks into every complaint. We may ask you to explain what happened. Do not pressure trainees to leave good reviews or to take back a complaint.
10. Suspending or Ending This Agreement
You can stop coaching at any time by telling our team or deleting your account. Please give us notice so we can move your trainees to a new coach.
We may warn you, remove trainees from you, hide your profile, suspend your account, or end this agreement if you break these rules, get serious complaints, or put trainees at risk.
11. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Coach Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will change the version number and date on this page and tell you in the app or by email. If you keep coaching after the changes start, it means you accept them.
